One Voice Legislative Conference Keynote Speaker Announced

Wednesday, January 27, 2010

NTMA and PMA are pleased to announce that former member of the U.S. House of Representatives Susan Molinari will be the keynote speaker during the second annual One Voice Legislative Conference, scheduled for April 20-21, 2010, in Washington, D.C.

A member of Congress from New York from 1990-1997, Molinari became the highest-ranking woman in Congress when her colleagues elected her to the eight-person Republican Majority Leadership after the GOP regained the House majority in 1994. As a member of the House Budget Committee, she was at the forefront of producing Congress’s first balanced budget in 29 years. After leaving Congress, Molinari co-anchored “CBS News Saturday Morning.” She is a Senior Principal in the government relations, advocacy and strategy section of Bracewell & Giuliani LLP in Washington, D.C., and a political pundit who often appears on television news shows.

Participants at the conference will hear Molinari’s perspective on the current political landscape and the upcoming mid-term elections.

In addition, One Voice is in the process of lining up other Washington insiders and policy experts to provide attendees with updates on key legislation affecting manufacturers. The first day of the conference will conclude with a networking reception.

On April 21, participants will head to Capitol Hill for a full day of lobbying Congress on the issues that impact the industry.

With so many important issues facing small and medium-sized manufacturers, the 2010 Legislative Conference is a must-attend event! Additional details and registration information will be available in February. In the meantime, please mark your calendar for April 20-21 and plan to attend.
